The milling machine is equipped with a motor spindle that offers a speed of 15,000 rpm and a power of 46 kW (S1/S6) and a torque of 125 Nm (S1) and 170 Nm (S6). It uses roller guides and direct-drive ball screws that achieve rapid traverse speeds of up to 50 m/min. The tool changer can accommodate up to 40 tools. The machining center is equipped with a Siemens or Heidenhain control system and features the EMCONNECT digital process assistant (Sinumerik ONE) to improve efficiency.
